Look at this picture to see how an Ecosystem works! This is the same picture that is displayed on the side of the blog.
Can you look at the picture and then use your own paper to re-create it? Try it and see how you do!
What are Biomes and Ecosystems? Biomes are an interdependent system of plants, animals, and land. They are a large region with similar ecosystems. Ecosystems are made up of living and nonliving things that interact with each other.
What are Biomes and Ecosystems?
BIOMES
There are Six Main Land Biomes in the World.
The Six Main Land Biomes are:
1. Desert
2. Tundra
3. Grasslands
4. Rainforest
5. Taiga
6. Temperate Forest
There is also the Aquatic or Underwater Biome.
ECOSYSTEMS
This is the relationship between living and nonliving things and how they interact with each other in a system. An ecosystem is a smaller system that is included in the larger area. This larger area is called a biome. This means that ecosystems are included in biomes.
